Hey there!

W E L C O M E T O M Y W O R L D

Choosing a photographer can be a little like online dating. You want to find someone who’s going to take care of you and have your back. Someone who is going to care deeply about your memories with loved ones, and a person who’s going to honor and celebrate your story, so you can feel empowered to be yourself.

At the end of the day, you just want someone who gets it. Who vibes with you and can hang like they’re part of the family.

So here’s the part where you get to know what I’m all about.. because as a photographer, mom, and wife, I know just how important that connection and trust is!

The person I am today is a culmination of years spent trail running and practicing yoga, drawing and painting, epic hikes and beach trips, and of course, time spent taking lots of pictures. Growing up, my dad was the adventurer and my mom was the romantic. My dad, the carpenter and sailor. My mom, the writer and photographer. So yes.. adventure and creativity are in my blood!

I began my photography career in 2019, when I had my daughter. Before her, it was always a hobby and a passion. But bringing her into this world inspired me to fully commit to my creative calling, and devote my career to capturing people’s stories through an empathetic lens. I began photographing weddings in 2020 as a lead photographer for Dearly Beloved Weddings. I worked with them for two and a half years and photographed over 30 weddings. During that time I also worked closely with Allium Floral Design & Event Styling. I wore many hats there - floral designer, marketing assistant, photographer, and studio manager. During my years with these companies, I learned so much about the world of weddings. I worked closely with the founders and acquired priceless knowledge, experience, and vendor connections that have sculpted me into the business owner and creative that I am today.

I started shooting my own weddings at the end of 2021, and have been loving every moment of it. My work combines my love for intimate and emotional portraiture with documentary storytelling. I’m a sucker for big laughs, soft kisses, and gorgeous landscapes. One of my biggest priorities on the wedding day is capturing connections between family and friends, and between my couples. My family portrait work and personal ‘mom life’ inspire the way I document moments with family and friends on a wedding day. Whether that be the look on your mom’s face as she zips up your dress, or they way your dad hugs your fiancé before they walk down the aisle. All of these little moments of connection and storytelling are the reason why I love what I do.

Telling visual stories with a focus on emotion, connection, and fine art fuels my passion

If the thought of having your special moments captured in this way excites you too, let’s connect. It doesn’t matter if your perfect day includes everyone you know for a day of traditions and celebration, or it it’s just the two of you hiking through your favorite national park as you make your own traditions. Either way, I’ve got your back.
