Want to know a little secret? Family lifestyle sessions are my absolute favorite. When I had my daughter in 2019, it changed my life. It rearranged my priorities and reignited my creativity. Ever since then, I've been devoted to capturing families in all their lovingly goofy glory!
When you become my client, I make a commitment to really get to know you and your family. After you inquire, we'll set up an initial call to connect and get to know each other. I'll tell you all about my process and my passions. I'll ask you about your family and your vision for the session. Then, when you're ready to book, we'll schedule a more in-depth phone call to really get down to the nitty gritty of your family's routines and hobbies, their personalities and connections with each other, where you like to spend time together, and so on.
I like to take a photojournalistic approach to family sessions, with open prompts and gentle guiding that allow you to be yourself and play an authentic role in your family portraits. These sessions are designed in a way that allows and encourages the process to unfold naturally. Whatever comes up, we can take the time to address. Sometimes the sweetest moments of parenting happen when we stop what we're doing to prioritize our child's needs. These are low-pressure sessions meant to capture your unique love and story. I'll encourage you to put on your favorite playlist and even light some of your favorite candles! Whatever gives you that happy, homey atmosphere so that we can create a gallery of images that feel like you.
