Recently I had a client asked me what I meant by “storytelling imagery.” I told him it’s photos that set the scene. From sweeping landscapes to tiny details. It’s the unscripted part of the day.
Creating imagery like this gives you the space to feel present in the moment. It’s an opportunity to breathe in the landscape, be goofy with your partner, and feel free to be yourself.
Documenting the story of your wedding day, engagement session, or your family’s memories in a natural way is just as important to me as creating timeless posed portraits.
There’s a delicate balance between capturing the real story of the day and transcending the commotion and logistics with emotion-centered portraiture. My hope is that when you look at your gallery, you can feel both ♡
